Jonas Staal

Kunstenaar Jonas Staal maakt leuke, ironische kunstwerken. Hij maakt veel ironische straatkunst waarbij hij problemen aankaart die in de huidige maatschappij spelen, meestal met een knipoog. Zo heeft hij in Den Haag een keer alle straatnaambordjes van een wijk veranderd naar het Arabisch en maakte hij door Rotterdam en Den Haag een aantal gedenkplaatsen voor Geert Wilders, waar hij ironisch genoeg door de heer Wilders later voor is aangeklaagd.

Op dit moment exposeert hij in Kunst-Werke Berlin zijn kunstwerk New World Summit.

De perfecte marathon

Als ik ooit een marathon zou lopen dan zou het wel deze zijn, de Marathon du Medoc in Bordeaux. Iedereen gaat verkleed en in plaats van stands met water wordt er om de 200 meter een lekker wijntje geserveerd. Rennen op zijn Frans dus. Heerlijk genieten van de wijngaarden en hier en daar even een stop maken om een speciale lokale wijn te proeven of te genieten van een kaasplankje.

De marathon vindt plaats in September en inschrijving is in Februari. Let wel op dat je een doktersverklaring bijvoegt. Voor 78 euro heb je een startnummer.

Ok I like public marketing, I have to admit that but only when they are in a fun kind of guerilla marketing way. However I do share Banksy's opinion about public advertisment that's in your face and makes you feel like your somewhat insignificant. Keep buying our superawesome products and you become superawesome. They make you look like you will become better looking, have more money and have more friends. Overall your life will be better and it will definiteley won't be as boring as it is right now.

The Bubble Project

I really like this one. Okay maybe I'm way too late posting this but still I'm sure there still people out there who haven't seen it before. This is a project of this guy Ji Lee who started to put this empty text balloons on adds. After some time he came back to see what people might have written on them, and suprrisingly everybody wrote down this funny stuff or political critisism.
